Where polyamide wheels are used

Polyamide (PA6) is hard, wear-resistant and does not rust. We supply polyamide wheels and castors from 80 to 200 mm wheel diameter, with plate, back-hole or wheel hub fitting.

In retail they run under shopping trolleys, roll containers and transport trolleys. In production and warehouses they sit on pallet and transport trolleys. In hotels and catering you find them on serving and food trolleys, in healthcare on hospital beds, trolleys and stretchers.

Material properties

Polyamide hardly deforms under load and rolls easily. It is wear-resistant, does not corrode and suits indoor and outdoor use. It is lighter than metal. On delicate floors a rubber tyre is the better choice.

Standard range

Wheel diameters: 80, 100, 108, 125, 150 and 200 mm. Fitting: top plate, back hole or wheel hub. Bearings: plain, roller or ball. Types: fixed castor, swivel castor and swivel castor with brake.

We combine injection-moulded plastic parts with welded and pressed metal parts. The forks are electro-galvanised or powder coated. For OEM customers we supply large quantities and parts to drawing.
