About us
LIV Systems is a Slovenian manufacturer of castors, wheels, wheelbarrows and technical parts made from metal and plastic. We have been based in Postojna since 1954, make over 7 million wheels and castors a year there and supply customers in 43 countries, mainly in Europe.
Where our castors run
Our castors sit under waste containers, shopping trolleys and washing machines, on heat-resistant trolleys in bakeries, on harvesting equipment in the field and in ski lifts.
Customers and range
Our OE (original equipment) customers work in intralogistics, waste container manufacturing, food processing and agriculture. Besides castors and wheels we make wheelbarrows and technical parts from metal and plastic. Annual sales in 2026 are EUR 24 million. The range covers over 3000 products. We answer enquiries within one business day.
Location
Head office, production and warehouse are in Postojna, near the ports of Trieste (IT) and Koper (SI). We work to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
Why customers order from us
The plant is close to all European markets, so delivery times are short and reliable. We supply what the application needs, from a standard wheel to a special wheel for a logistics problem. Our engineers keep developing the products.
Owners
Until 2018 LIV Systems belonged to the Slovenian restructuring bank DUTB. In 2018 private investors took over the company. They bring experience in optimising production companies and 50 years of experience in making and trading castors and wheels. Considerable investment went into the production facilities in 2019 and 2020. The milestones since 1954 are on the History of LIV page.
